I made this page to keep my network up to speed on my activities. Throughout my career, I have set out to launch new products and brands while exploring new digital and physical sales channels. What I learned was fascinating, and the hard work taught me a lot about myself, what I value, and most significantly, the atmosphere in which I want to work. My passion is really focused on using design to drive business growth. My strength is aligning operations for design-centric companies to help them outperform their competition. I have worked on consulting programs with amazing CEOs across the country, from small to enterprise-sized businesses. Working with leaders who aspire to alter sectors and make long-term investments in the future has been extremely rewarding.

I have over 20 years of experience providing leadership, management, and vision to ensure companies have effective and passionate people, great design, and procedures in place that deliver profitable growth. I have worked in hundreds of product categories and been in an omni-channel world since 2003, developing and executing strategies across both B2C and B2B e-commerce.
I built my first products by sketching, drawing in 2D CAD (Ashlar Vellum), and building prototypes by hand in a workshop.
I taught myself how to draw in 3D CAD (Solidworks), machine parts, and use rapid prototyping fabrication techniques to deliver realistic functional hardware prototypes for leading brands and Fortune 100 companies.
I have ethically sourced thousands of products from geographies around the world for nearly a decade, partnering with suppliers to drive innovative new products while managing costs and maintaining quality.
I believe design-led companies outperform and have trained in design management practices, which allows me to integrate the design discipline throughout product development and marketing processes.
I am passionate about the sustainability of products, and even more so about packaging. I championed the elimination of PVC in packaging, sponsored a program that used right-sized distribution cartons for pick locations in fulfilment centers, and eliminated single-use plastics in packaging.
I rely on consumer research to drive decision-making and developed a user research platform using the latest and most cost-effective digital platforms for qualitative and quantitative data to provide fuel for product managers in the development of new products and services.
I have architected product brand portfolios, created brand strategies, and developed brands that have grown to exceed $100 million in sales multiple times.
I have been an operator, leading the Staples Own Brand business ($4B), SRP Convenience Channel ($280M), and Sprout Studios.
I have rebranded companies and facilitated entry into new channels, which drove the growth required to reposition the company for acquisition.
I have always supported diversity and inclusion because it is the right thing to do and delivers better results. When the current fad is over, I will still be building teams in the same manner.
Most importantly, I have led teams by providing clear objectives, creating individual development plans, and offering timely feedback and coaching, which resulted in high levels of retention and promotion.
Giving me a title has been a challenge throughout my career. The places where I have been most successful have realized I am most valuable working across functions to support change and drive innovation in product, service, and experience. I possess an overall knowledge of design, operations, and marketing, which positions me to impact entire systems. I also have a wealth of non-technical skills developed over years of leading distributed teams, mentoring, and training.
